The London Mission Services are getting a new home on York Street!
The mission center originally opened its doors in 1951 on Talbot street, now the new centre is a getting a big overhaul on York Street. Mission Services of London opens doors of hope with compassion for those seeking emergency shelter and support, by offering safe shelter, food, clothing and rehabilitation.
Mission Services of London has helped thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. Today it operates two emergency shelters, an addiction treatment program, a thrift store/outreach program and Community Mental Health programs for consumers/survivors of the mental health system. Many men and women tell how their lives have been changed significantly as a result of the love, care and respect they received from our agency during difficult periods of their lives.
Connie Spuria the PR manager at the shelter is excited about all the new beds they will have for the residence
” Our family centre can accommodate up to 20 families, so about 60-70 people” .
The entire faculty at the Mission Services of London are all very excited.
