James McInnes, Co-Founder and CEO was excited to open a location in the company’s home town of London, and with it being the latest location to open, the reception was incredible, “it’s actually amazing. People are super excited to come in and try the foods super excited to, to just, I think, see what can be done with plants because I think I think there’s a big misconception that, you know plant based food is expensive and it’s, you know, or it’s it’s not very accessible it’s not convenient and I think we’re really changing that I think people are excited about that. Most of our customers like aren’t vegan.” McInnes said when asked about how the stores have been received by the locals.
With only being in business since 2016, they have 5 years in the fast food industry. The future is still bright and undetermined. With so many possibilities, you don’t know what Odd Burger is going to do, “So right now we are on track to open 20 locations the next year. So that’s across Canada and in the states as well. So that our big, you know, sort of growth here is with new corporate stores and also franchise locations as well. So we’re our plan is to kind of mix both of those store types in our in our system. And, you know, again, the goal here is to get plant based foods that’s more accessible in more locations across Canada and states as quickly as we can. So that’s that’s kind of our mission and our growth plans.” McInnes responded when prompted about Odd Burger and its future.
With the start of the new store in London, the sky is the limit for Odd Burger, and frankly, they’ve got the ability to reach the limit.
