A London man is facing charges relating to a pharmacy robbery.
On Tuesday evening, a masked male entered a pharmacy on Adelaide Street North. The man approached an employee with a note saying that he had a gun and was demanding narcotics.
The suspect removed money from a cash register inside the store. An employee called 9-1-1 and a description of the suspect was provided.
Upon police arrival, the suspect was observed exiting the pharmacy. He was arrested without incident. A search yielded stolen cash. No firearm was found.
Donald Robert Lalonde, 46, of London has been charged with the following offences:
- Robbery with violence or threats; and
- Disguise with intent.
