FSU is all set for their next presidential elections. Three candidates Siddharth Singh (sid), Taimoor Mujahid, and Pritesh Kumar Mishra are running for the elections.
Pritesh Mishra, one of the candidates mentions why he is interested in this position, “the rules and responsibilities of the president is something which fascinated me and these are somethings I can do.”
Mentioning the important things he says, “The most important FSU motto, I believe the mix of nationals and internationals everyone should get equal rights in everything many times my classmates are not aware of certain things and are not able to capitalize on it.”
“The second biggest moto is when an international is coming here then the person should feel habituated to this place and that happens by exploring the situations,” says Mishra.
Talking about the issues he mentions, “I won’t say it’s an issue but the main things I want to focus on, the events or activities are held to make it a better one and each and everyone associated with FSU should get an opportunity for that and there should not be any bar to these factors, there are lots of people who are not aware of that.”
“My main concern is that every student is reached out by FSU at the same time and it works vice versa.”
He believes internationals are not very well guided about the jobs and connections. He is looking forward to improving the network which might be helpful for jobs and making connections, especially for internationals.
“I believe the Food Referendum is a great initiative as many are facing food issues as it is a necessity and it should be given major attention so I support the food referendum.”
Elections are starting from Monday, March 4, 9.00 am to March 6, noon. Voting will take place through Fanshawe online.
