Fanshawe College wrapped up their Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) presidential race this afternoon with Candidate Jerry Thomas winning.
Thomas’s current plan is to talk with former president Siddharth Singh and figure out what the current bi-plan is looking like and what he should do for next year.

Thomas also says a big reason he thinks he won was due to him taking the time to talk to each student and says it was a good idea to tell students his ideas so they would tell their friends all about him.
His future ideas for his presidential reign includes more funding for student initatives, greater financial transparency, and more engaging campus events.
Thomas won with nine hundred ninety-six votes with runners up Shadè Diaz receiving seven hundred eighty-four and Bernardo Macapagal receiving six hundred fifty-one
The final voting turnout was four-thousand fifteen votes out of a possible twenty-one thousand students which is a 20 per cent voter turnout
