The new Fanshawe student union president has Been announced, Jerry Thomas is the newly elected FSU president, after weeks of campaigning the election is finally over. Jerry won with 996 votes with runner up Shade Dias having 784, the two candidates focused on affordability for students making what has been an interesting election.

With Jerry Thomas as our new President this begs the question of how will he use this new position to help students and what will he put his attention towards first? The recently elected President says ” My first action is to meet with the former President Sidharth Singh and discus a plan that is currently in the pipeline”
of course, students have concerns on a transition of a new President, but fellow candidate Adam Boyce says, “the new president is receptive when it comes to talking with students”, Boyce also added ” the first Priority should be to talk with the students”.
