A suspect is still at large after a shooting in Ingersoll. The situation began when an individual working at a nearby business went out to their vehicle to find an unknown person inside. A verbal confrontation ensued, which quickly turned physical. The suspect discharged a firearm injuring the owner of the vehicle before stealing the truck.
The victim was transported to a London area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The stolen vehicle later was involved in a collision. A Good Samaritan who stopped to assist with the crash had a firearm displayed to him by the suspect. They then stole this individual’s white Dodge Ram, fleeing the area. No injuries were reported in this altercation.
The suspect was described to police as a Caucasian male, 5’6 to 5’8, 150 to 170 lbs, 30 to 40’s of age,
pocked marked face with sunken cheek bones, dark eyes, brown unkempt hair with a goatee. He was
wearing a black coat with a hood along with a hooded sweatshirt with both hoods pulled over his head.
The suspect is still at large, and is considered armed and dangerous. Police are asking the public to avoid the suspect if spotted, and to call 911 if they do.
