London police say a man has been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing on Monday in the city’s west end.
38-year-old Gregory Cane of London has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 66-year-old Stephen Hutchinson.
Police say the suspect and victim were known to each other.
Officers responded to a call around 11:45 a.m. Monday on Springbank Drive, west of Wharncliffe Road South after a man sustained life-threatening injuries from a suspected stabbing. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
The suspect remains in custody pending a court date scheduled for Feb. 3.
