Monday at around 1:15 PM a woman was struck and killed in a parking lot just off of Western road. In a statement, London Police said that the incident was under investigation and asked the public to avoid the area of Western and Essex.
Police and Fire were on the scene for hours after sectioning off the area with caution tape, hovering around the place of the incident, and speaking to the residents of the townhouses, no one was allowed to enter or exit the parking lot.
Neither the victim nor the driver was identified but the driver did remain at the scene, no arrests have been made.
