Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour concert film has been released earlier than anticipated. Some people will be dressing up as one of her eras.
“I’m gonna wear an outfit that would represent one of her eras and I’ll be a reputation girl tonight.” says fan
There are some with high hopes of experiencing the environment that will emulate the same feeling as being there at the live concert.
“I feel like the crowd will be more cheerful and really sing along and all that.”
Londoners feel like this is a cheaper alternative compared to the live experience.
“I think it’s a cheaper alternative and I think it caters more to those who weren’t able to get tickets or who couldn’t afford the resale value of the tickets. It’s a good deal.”
While others are excited to see the concert in a cheaper way, some feel that it’s still expensive for the general admission price.
“The thing is, I like Taylor Swift. I tried to buy the tickets for the concert which was way more expensive than I expected.” says a Fanshawe student
“I didn’t buy it, but I wouldn’t go to a movie theater to watch the concert and pay more than a movie ticket.”
Remy-Jade Manzan Alvarez, a Fanshawe college student, plans to see the anticipated concert.
“I’ll pay for anything Taylor Swift. I just thought it would be worth it because I also go to dance parties and other stuff related to Taylor Swift.”
Some fans are looking to see the concert in a different way than to viewing it in person at a movie theater or at the concert.
“If I wanted to watch a recorded concert, I’ll go to YouTube where there’s tons of it.”
There are other ways to see this concert film but there could be additional content that may not be featured.
“There are behind the scenes moments which are not available on YouTube.” says Remy-Jade Manzan Alvarez.
There are people willing to spend the extra money to see this concert and it can be viewed as a cheaper alternative than the live concert.
