Fresh Religion, a local music collective, will be doing a fundraising show tonight at Palasad SocialBowl, benefiting the London Food Bank.
The London Food Bank has been struggling to keep up with demand for their services. This collective hopes that they could help the community through their services.
Focusing on rap and R&B, the group is formed by Fanshawe Music Industry Arts alumni: Jack Craven, 2Divine, George Toox, Moosey Elias, ToNi Blu, and TheFinesser.
“Music has always been a form of salvation for people going through tough times; speaking from experience. And music has the ability to move communities and bring people together and what we’ve been doing with Fresh Religion has really been uniting friends and family of ours and fanbases, and you know, if we can do something to bring together the whole city and make it a better place for everyone then that’s all we really wanna do.” says Jack Craven, one of the group’s rappers.
They will also be accepting in-kind donations at their 8:30pm show.
