Mike Stubbs is one of a kind. His own radio show, play by play for the London Knights and teacher at Fanshawe college. Mike’s voice can be heard all over London, ONT. But who is he when he is not behind a mic? He is a humble, kind, caring person who stills has moments of despite the countless amazing places and people he has been able to meet. He is just as enthusiastic about a conversation at the grocery store as he is with a pro hockey player.
Mike Stubbs became a teacher because he wanted to share his experiences he has had and to make those goals achievable for the next generation of journalists. He is a good teacher to passed students using him as a reference to get their dream job or coming back to the class to share their experiences in the journalism industry. He knows the in’s and out’s of the industry as well as connection all across the country that he is more then happy to share with his students.
He talks about how time consuming his job is and he is so grateful for his wife and kids and how understanding they are about how time consuming his career is. The time he had to spend away from his family to become as successful as he is took a lot of time and he is so thankful for his wife and all the work she does for their family.
